Collection of Vojislav S. Popović

In 2018, the National Museum in Leskovac received as a gift 296 various items for the Ethnological Collection. These objects, from the period between the two world wars and afterwards, up to the 80s of the last century, belonged to the family of Vojislav S. ć founder of the Vlasina Football Club (1920) and the newspaper “Vlasina“ (1926) in Vlasotince.

The collection includes: furniture, clothes, textiles, embroidery, lace, furniture, lighting items, glassware, porcelain items, toys, strollers, tools and more. Vojislav S. Popović and his wider family played a prominent and important role in the life of the social community of this area.
