In order to bring museum contents closer to all categories of the population in an understandable and new way, the National Museum in Leskovac, especially in the last decade, accepts its role in a changing society and opens to marginalized groups and people with disabilities. The museum is equipped with the following content:
- A sign language guide
- Tactile exhibition of 19 replicas
- Audio guide through permanent setup and tactile exhibition
- A guide in Braille
- Legends in Braille
- Inclusive workshops
- Information guide (placed on the front door)
- Magnifying glasses
- Tactile paths in a permanent setting
- Benches for sitting
- Marked glass doors
These activities are funded by: Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia , Foundation Stavros Niarchos, Balkan Museum Network – BMN , Cultural Heritage without Borders – CHwB , THE Headley TRUST.
