Medieval Collection
This collection covers the period from the 9th century until the Turkish conquest of this region in 1454 and contains 530 items (mainly pottery and jewelry) that were found by chance, donated to a museum, or found during the archaeological excavations. Archaeological excavations were carried out at the sites of the church of St. John the Forerunner in Jašunja, Skobaljić Grad, and Church of St. Petka in the village of Gazdare and the locality Tapan in Pečenjevac.
